Our fleet consists of high-quality 6 to 21-ton HIAB cranes, and we are committed to delivering precision lifting with the highest safety standards in the Sub-Saharan Africa region. The successful candidates will be responsible for executing complex lifting tasks, ensuring the safety of all personnel and equipment on-site. Operators must be proficient in handling heavy loads and navigating the logistical challenges of diverse work sites across Tanzania. This role requires a strong dedication to safety, professional excellence, and the ability to deliver results in demanding environments, particularly within the mining and construction sectors. Key Requirements
Possession of a valid Tanzanian driver's license with the appropriate class for heavy machinery operation.
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of documented experience specifically operating HIAB cranes between 6 and 21 tons.
Current certification and licensing for crane operation from a recognized national training authority.
Strong understanding of load charts, lifting capacities, and mechanical rigging principles.
Proven track record of maintaining safety standards in mining or heavy construction environments.
Ability to perform daily pre-operational inspections and basic mechanical maintenance on equipment.
Excellent hand-eye coordination and the ability to perform precision lifting in tight spaces.
Willingness to travel and work at various project sites across all regions of Tanzania as required.
Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with site supervisors and ground crews.
A deep commitment to adhering to all company and international safety protocols during lifting operations.
