INVESTMENT INTERN @ SAYUNI CAPITAL
Sayuni Capital is currently seeking a motivated Investment Intern to join their expanding team in Tanzania. This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about private credit and SME financing, offering a unique opportunity to engage with the local business ecosystem. The intern will play a key role in identifying potential borrowers and assisting through every stage of the investment process, from initial sourcing to final deal closure. This position provides deep exposure to various sectors, including agribusiness, manufacturing, logistics, and trade, specifically focusing on enterprises led by women or local entrepreneurs.
In addition to sourcing and process support, the successful candidate will provide hands-on assistance to the existing portfolio of SMEs. This involves monitoring business performance and helping entrepreneurs navigate financial challenges to ensure long-term profitability. The role is exclusively open to Tanzanian nationals and requires a candidate who is proactive, analytical, and eager to contribute to a fund that prioritizes impact and economic growth in East Africa. Key Requirements
Must be a Tanzanian national.
Assist in sourcing potential borrowers for the private credit fund.
Support the end-to-end investment process for SMEs.
Provide hands-on portfolio support to existing clients.

Demonstrate a strong interest in private credit and SME finance.
Possess excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
Maintain strong communication skills in both English and Swahili.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of the manufacturing, logistics, or agribusiness sectors in Tanzania.
