Our client, a prominent player in the logistics and transport industry, is seeking a Junior Accountant to join their team in Dar es Salaam. This role is designed for a detail-oriented individual with a solid foundation in accounting practices who can support day-to-day finance operations effectively. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of tasks including handling payments, performing bank reconciliations, managing petty cash, and conducting invoice verification. Additionally, the role involves maintaining accurate financial records for receivables and payables, as well as coordinating with internal teams to ensure operational financial accuracy.

Key Requirements
Good foundation in accounting and finance principles.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial reporting.
Experience in handling payments and bank reconciliations.
Ability to manage petty cash and verify invoices.
Knowledge of accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
Previous experience in logistics, transport, or clearing and forwarding is preferred.
Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
