PROJECT MANAGER (OIL & GAS) @ HSD-MELT
Hsd-melt is currently seeking a highly skilled Project Manager specializing in the Oil & Gas sector to join their team in Dar es Salaam. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading complex projects from the initial contract award phase through to final commissioning. This role requires a professional who can ensure all technical, contractual, and operational execution aspects are handled with precision. You will be tasked with planning and managing comprehensive project schedules, milestones, and resources to ensure all deadlines and budget targets are met consistently. As the primary interface between clients, project directors, suppliers, and site teams, you will play a crucial role in maintaining smooth communication and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities will extend to coordinating multidisciplinary technical activities, including the integration of electrical, automation, mechanical, and control systems. Additionally, you will monitor procurement processes and supervise on-site activities such as installation and technical support while maintaining strict compliance with international HSE and quality standards.
Key Requirements
4-8 years of project management experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
Deep understanding of HSE standards including OSHA, ATEX, and NFPA.
Fluency in spoken and written English.
Experience in leading projects from contract award to final commissioning.
Proven ability to plan and manage project schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
Technical expertise in coordinating electrical, automation, and mechanical systems.
Experience monitoring procurement, equipment manufacturing, and logistics.
Capability to supervise site activities including installation and training.
Proficiency in project financial performance tracking and cost management.
Strong leadership skills to interface between clients and multidisciplinary teams.
