The Fixed Income Trader will play a pivotal role in the Global Markets department, focusing on the execution, management, and optimization of trades in T-Bills, T-Bonds, and corporate bonds. Key responsibilities include active participation in Bank of Tanzania (BoT) primary auctions and secondary market trading on the Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange (DSE). The trader will provide two-way pricing for institutional counterparties, maintain rigorous compliance with CMSA, DSE, and BoT regulations, and deliver daily insights to keep stakeholders informed of market movements.

Key Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Mathematics 3–5 years of experience in fixed income or treasury trading Licensed DATS Trader certification or eligibility to obtain ACI Dealing Certificate, SITI, or CITI certification preferred Proficiency in bond pricing mechanics
