FIXED INCOME TRADER @ TANZANIA SECURITIES LIMITED (TSL)
The Fixed Income Trader will play a pivotal role in the Global Markets department, focusing on the execution, management, and optimization of trades in T-Bills, T-Bonds, and corporate bonds. The successful candidate will manage risk and yield curves for proprietary and client portfolios while ensuring high standards of market engagement.
Key responsibilities include active participation in Bank of Tanzania (BoT) primary auctions and secondary market trading on the Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange (DSE). The trader will provide two-way pricing for institutional counterparties, maintain rigorous compliance with CMSA, DSE, and BoT regulations, and deliver daily insights to keep stakeholders informed of market movements.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Mathematics
3–5 years of experience in fixed income or treasury trading
Licensed DATS Trader certification or eligibility to obtain
ACI Dealing Certificate, SITI, or CITI certification preferred
Proficiency in bond pricing mechanics
Advanced Excel and Bloomberg Terminal skills
Proven experience in P&L accountability and risk management
Fluency in both English and Swahili
Strong understanding of regional financial regulations
Ability to analyze yield curves and market trends
