UNTOLD organization is a Multi-Centered Christian NGO dedicated to empowering individuals to live beyond HIV/AIDS. We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Health Counsellor to join our team in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. This role is stationed at the TAG church - Buza Centre and is offered as a one-year contract. As a Health Counsellor, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our clients, delivering holistic care through our integrated care model. You will be responsible for monitoring individual health journeys, evaluating patient progress, and providing personalized support to ensure the well-being of each client.

In this position, you will conduct detailed health assessments, provide home-based care visits in collaboration with spiritual counsellors, and facilitate weekly center meetings. You will also be tasked with organizing skill enhancement workshops and maintaining accurate daily records of your activities and client progress. We are looking for an individual who is committed to the mission of UNTOLD, highly organized, and capable of managing health emergencies while maintaining professional documentation.

Key Requirements

Diploma in Community Development, Counseling Psychology, or Social Work from a recognized institution. Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in a similar counseling or health role. Proven experience in field work as a Community Health Worker or in community leadership. Must be a born-again Christian and an active member of a local church. Ability to understand and strictly adhere to the UNTOLD Statement of Faith.
