As the Executive Chef, you will have significant pre-opening responsibilities. You will also be involved in food cost planning, financial forecasting, and the development of kitchen workflows and production processes. Experience in kitchen design and layout planning will be a strong advantage.
Candidates should possess a minimum of 5 years in senior culinary leadership positions with proven restaurant opening experience. Deep knowledge of diverse cuisines, local ingredients, and modern techniques is essential, alongside proven expertise in menu engineering, food costing, and supplier negotiations. A formal culinary education is an advantage, though strong practical experience is equally valued. Excellent English communication skills are required, and additional languages are a plus.
Key skills for this role include strong leadership and team management abilities, operational management proficiency, and experience with pre-opening projects. A solid understanding of HACCP and Food Safety standards, staff training and development, and experience working with multicultural teams are also critical for success in this dynamic environment.
