The Reliability Engineer will join an innovative hardware development group to lead and execute reliability tests on new devices and supplier technologies. Key Requirements
Experience performing reliability testing including Mechanical Stress Tests, Shock, Drop, and Vibration Testing.
In-depth knowledge of industry test Standards such as JEDEC, ASTM, and IEEE.
Proven application of Design of Experiments (DOE) and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
Proficiency in Failure Analysis analytical techniques including Optical Microscopy and X-Ray.
Experience with SEM/EDS, FTIR, and XPS analytical methods.
Ability to use fundamental failure analysis methodology to derive a root cause of failure.
Engineering degree (BS or MS) in Materials Science, Mechanical engineering, or Electrical engineering.
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a related engineering field or industry.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English for technical reporting.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and resolve problems independently.
