RELIABILITY ENGINEER @ HR PUNDITS
The Reliability Engineer will join an innovative hardware development group to lead and execute reliability tests on new devices and supplier technologies. This role is responsible for the development of new test procedures to quantify design reliability and conducting deep-dive failure analysis resulting from these tests. You will work within a dynamic team environment, contributing to the development of next-generation hardware through rigorous testing and data-driven insights.
Key responsibilities include preparing concise and detailed test plans and reports, performing statistical data analysis to provide risk assessments, and prioritizing tasks to meet tight deadlines. You will interact with a wide variety of individuals and teams to communicate results and provide design input to improve product reliability. The role requires a candidate who can research new technologies to determine failure modes and develop specific reliability specifications for consumer electronics.

Key Requirements
Experience performing reliability testing including Mechanical Stress Tests, Shock, Drop, and Vibration Testing.
In-depth knowledge of industry test Standards such as JEDEC, ASTM, and IEEE.
Proven application of Design of Experiments (DOE) and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
Proficiency in Failure Analysis analytical techniques including Optical Microscopy and X-Ray.
Experience with SEM/EDS, FTIR, and XPS analytical methods.
Ability to use fundamental failure analysis methodology to derive a root cause of failure.
Engineering degree (BS or MS) in Materials Science, Mechanical engineering, or Electrical engineering.
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a related engineering field or industry.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English for technical reporting.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and resolve problems independently.
