STAFF EMBEDDED/FIRMWARE IN GUI/CPU/RTMCU @ SKALEN SEMI
Skalen Semi is seeking highly skilled Staff Embedded/Firmware Engineers to join our team, working with a large IT and design services Hyperscaler client. This senior-level role requires candidates with 6 to 12 years of specialized experience in GUI, CPU, and RTMCU development. The successful candidates will be responsible for building high-performance systems, focusing on areas such as iMX93 SoC development, main CPU porting, and real-time systems implementation. Work locations for this position include California (CA) and Massachusetts (MA) in the United States.
The role involves extensive work with the QT Framework, QML, and Linux development environments using the Yocto Project. Candidates will design and develop firmware for ARM Cortex processors and work with various RTOS platforms like FreeRTOS and WindRiver. Responsibilities also encompass low-level programming, hardware debugging using oscilloscopes, and the integration of diverse components including camera systems, touch panels, and audio systems. Please note that this role is specifically for experienced professionals and is not open to interns or freshers.

Key Requirements
6 to 12 years of professional experience in embedded or firmware development.
Expertise in C++ and Embedded C programming languages.
Proven experience with GUI Engineering using QT Framework and QML.
Deep knowledge of Linux development and the Yocto Project.
Strong understanding of ARM Cortex architectures and iMX93 SoC development.
Hands-on experience with RTOS such as FreeRTOS or WindRiver.
Proficiency in device driver development and MCU porting.
Experience with hardware debugging tools including Oscilloscopes.
Familiarity with communication protocols like MQTT and Inter-Processor Communication.
Knowledge of internationalization and safety standards such as IEC 60601.
