The Tanzania Atomic Energy Commission (TAEC) is inviting applications from qualified Tanzanians for the role of Radiation Safety Inspector on a volunteer basis. This position is vital for the regulation and supervision of atomic energy and nuclear technology to safeguard workers, patients, and the environment from harmful radiation. Volunteers will support the Commission's mandate in promoting nuclear technology transfer for the country's development. Possible working stations for this role include Dar-es-Salaam, Bagamoyo, Mwanza, Mara, Mbeya, Kigoma, Kagera, Zanzibar, Arusha, Tanga, Kilimanjaro, Mtwara, and Lindi. Applicants are expected to demonstrate high levels of integrity and dedication to public safety while gaining valuable experience in nuclear regulatory affairs.

Key Requirements

Holder of Bachelor Degree in Radiography, Nuclear Physics, or Radiation Protection Registered by the respective professional Board under the professional category Possess good communication and writing skills Proficient in basic computer skills Must be a citizen of Tanzania
