This is an exciting opportunity for a registered Pharmacist with strong GMP knowledge and solid pharmaceutical production experience to take ownership of production operations within a highly regulated facility. As the Production Manager, you will oversee daily production operations to ensure optimal output and efficiency while maintaining strict compliance with GMP, QA systems, SOPs, and SAHPRA requirements. You will be responsible for managing equipment calibration, maintenance, and validation to reduce downtime and ensure that the facility remains at peak operational capacity. Furthermore, the role involves leading and developing production teams to maintain high performance standards, overseeing production assets and procurement processes, and ensuring full compliance with OHSA to maintain a safe working environment. You will also compile and review operational management reports and develop various Standard Operating Procedures. This role is offered as a 6-month fixed-term contract based in Sandringham, Johannesburg.

Key Requirements

B.Pharm Degree from a recognized institution. Current registration as a Pharmacist with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC). Minimum of 6 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing environments. At least 1 year of hands-on experience in aseptic processing. Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or management experience in a production setting.
