The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operational efficiency of our tourism fleet, ensuring all vehicles are in top condition for safari expeditions. This role requires a blend of technical mechanical knowledge and administrative management to coordinate a large team of drivers and mechanics.
The Fleet Manager will implement rigorous servicing schedules, manage parts inventory, and ensure compliance with safety standards. Given the nature of the tourism industry, the candidate must be prepared to handle rapid logistical changes and provide support for vehicles operating in remote wildlife areas. Strong leadership and a minimum of five years in a similar capacity are essential for success.
Key Requirements
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in fleet management
Previous experience within the tourism industry is mandatory
