LOGISTICS AND CLEARING OFFICER @ TENSVENTURES
tensventures is looking for a competent and proactive Logistics and Clearing Officer to join its dedicated team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing and streamlining logistics operations, ensuring efficient customs clearing, and maintaining strict compliance with all import and export regulations. This position requires a professional with a strong understanding of international trade and supply chain management.
The primary responsibilities for this role include coordinating both local and international logistics operations, managing customs clearing and forwarding processes for all imports and exports, and liaising effectively with various stakeholders such as clearing agents, shipping lines, transporters, and regulatory authorities. The officer will also be responsible for preparing and processing all necessary shipping and customs documentation, ensuring timely clearance of shipments to minimize delays and demurrage costs, monitoring deliveries, and maintaining meticulous logistics and clearing records. Ensuring compliance with customs regulations and company policies, preparing comprehensive logistics and clearing reports, and performing other assigned duties are also key aspects of this role.
