LOGISTICS AND CLEARING OFFICER @ TENSVENTURES
tensventures is looking for a competent and proactive Logistics and Clearing Officer to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in coordinating logistics operations and ensuring efficient customs clearing, alongside strict compliance with all import and export requirements. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing the flow of goods and documentation.
Key responsibilities for this position include coordinating both local and international logistics operations, managing customs clearing and forwarding processes for imports and exports, and liaising effectively with various stakeholders such as clearing agents, shipping lines, transporters, and regulatory authorities. The officer will also be responsible for preparing and processing all necessary shipping and customs documentation, ensuring timely clearance of shipments, monitoring deliveries, maintaining accurate records, and preparing comprehensive logistics and clearing reports.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in logistics and customs clearing.
Experience in a company serving the mining industry is an added advantage.
Sound knowledge of customs procedures, import/export documentation, and logistics operations.
Strong organizational skills to manage complex logistics processes.
Excellent communication skills for liaising with various stakeholders.
Proven problem-solving skills to address logistical challenges.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
Ability to ensure compliance with customs regulations and company policies.
Capability to prepare accurate logistics and clearing reports.
