This exciting opportunity is for a dedicated and experienced General Manager to lead a hotel operation in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel's daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving financial performance. Key responsibilities include strategic planning, financial oversight, revenue management, customer service, budgeting, forecasting, and fostering a positive and productive work environment for all staff.
The General Manager will play a critical role in managing and developing the hotel's business. This position requires a professional with strong leadership capabilities, a keen understanding of the hospitality industry, and a proven track record of success in managing medium to large hotel establishments. The ideal candidate will be adept at making strategic decisions that positively impact both operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.
Key Requirements
Bachelor Degree or above in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Tourism Management, HR or other related disciplines.
Professional hospitality certification is an added advantage.
At least five years of proven strong experience as a Hotel General Manager of medium to large hotels or in a similar senior hotel leadership position.
Proven experience in managing revenue, financial planning, customer service, budgeting, forecasting, and business development.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
