This leadership role is pivotal in driving end-to-end fleet operations, crafting comprehensive logistics strategies, and overseeing the entirety of transport management across the region. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing routing, ensuring strict compliance with local regulations, and managing the overall financial health of the transport division through diligent P&L oversight.

The ideal applicant must possess over 15 years of intensive experience within the Transport, Supply Chain, or Logistics sectors, specifically within large-scale operations. Prior experience in the East African market—particularly in Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, or Zambia—is highly preferred to navigate the unique challenges of the regional landscape. We are looking for a strategic thinker who can lead diverse teams and enhance operational efficiency within the FMCG and Beverage trading environment. The position involves high-level decision-making and asset management to support the company's growth in the competitive FMCG sector.

Key Requirements

Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in Transport, Supply Chain, or Logistics. Proven track record in fleet management and strategic routing operations. Full responsibility for Profit and Loss (P&L) management within a transport division. In-depth understanding of transport regulations and compliance standards in East Africa. Demonstrated leadership experience managing large-scale transport and logistics operations.
