Recrcot AFRICA is looking for a Geologist for its Flake Graphite Project in Tanzania. This is a site-based, residential position reporting to the Owner's Representative and coordinating with the Senior Graphite Engineer. The role involves leading grade control, resource confidence, and flake-size mapping to ensure predictable ore feed and support a resource base that meets investor and lender expectations. Key responsibilities include running daily grade control, sampling, and reconciliation; mapping flake-size distribution by zone and depth; managing assay QA/QC, sample custody, and lab coordination; updating geological/resource models; and supporting mine planning. Geometallurgy and JORC-style reporting are also part of the duties.

Key Requirements

BSc/MSc Geology with 7+ years in mining geology Strong grade-control experience in a producing operation Graphite or industrial minerals experience preferred Proficiency in Leapfrog, Surpac, Datamine or similar Strong QA/QC discipline
