PV SYSTEM DESIGNER @ OMENAA
As a PV System Designer, you will be at the forefront of the energy transition, creating detailed blueprints and technical specifications for solar energy systems. Your work will involve analyzing site data, determining component requirements, and optimizing energy yields for various projects ranging from residential rooftops to utility-scale solar farms.
You will work closely with installation teams to ensure that designs are implemented accurately and safely. This role requires a high degree of technical precision and an ability to adapt designs to local environmental conditions. Work arrangements may include Remote, Hybrid, or On-site opportunities across Kenya.
Key Requirements
Technical degree or certification in Renewable Energy or Electrical Design.
Expertise in PV design software like PVsyst or Aurora Solar.
Experience conducting site assessments and energy yield simulations.
Knowledge of structural requirements for solar mounting systems.
Ability to create detailed electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
