Key Requirements
BSc/MSc Geology with 7+ years in mining geology
Strong grade-control experience in a producing operation
Graphite or industrial minerals experience preferred
Proficiency in Leapfrog, Surpac, Datamine or similar
Strong QA/QC discipline

The primary responsibility is to lead mine planning and open-pit operations to deliver consistent, on-grade, flake-preserving ore feed to the flotation plant as the project moves into full production. Key responsibilities include developing weekly, monthly, and quarterly mine plans aligned to plant feed needs, managing open-pit operations across weathered and fresh ore zones, and maintaining grade control and preserving flake integrity through disciplined ore handling. The role also involves overseeing haulage, stockpiles, and ROM feed for uninterrupted plant supply, as well as monitoring daily production performance and enforcing HSE standards.
Key Requirements
BS Mining Engineering or equivalent
7+ years' open-pit mining experience
Graphite or industrial minerals experience preferred
Proficiency in mine planning software (Surpac, Datamine, Deswik or similar)
