Our client, a fast-growing leader in the corrugated packaging industry based in Baja California, is seeking a high-caliber Sales Manager. This leadership role is designed for a builder who can drive aggressive market expansion, particularly within the strategic maquiladora sector. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader capable of turning complex strategies into measurable commercial growth while maintaining a culture of discipline and inspiration. Possible work locations within Mexico include Tijuana, Nogales, Cd. Juarez, Chihuahua, Nuevo Laredo, and Monterrey.

The selected candidate will have the unique opportunity to recruit, shape, and mentor a new high-performance sales team from the ground up. Key priorities include achieving significant volume targets within the first twelve months, establishing rigorous sales discipline through CRM-driven management, and coaching the team in sophisticated consultative selling techniques. This position offers significant ownership and influence in a high-performance environment, requiring a leader with resilience and a relentless drive for commercial excellence. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates from anywhere in Mexico.

Key Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business. MBA is highly valued for this leadership position. Strong track record in the corrugated industry or printed cardboard industry. At least 5+ years leading sales teams or managing sales operations. Fluent in both English and Spanish. Ability and willingness to travel to the USA. Based in or familiar with maquiladora-influenced regions in Northern Mexico. Proven ability to generate at least 3M ft² of new business within the first 12 months. Experience in recruiting, shaping, and mentoring high-performing sales teams. Expertise in CRM-driven management and structured forecasting. Proficiency in consultative selling and value-based proposals.
