This role is crucial for driving strategy, governance, and ensuring lasting impact across agricultural communities in Tanzania, specifically based in Dodoma. This is a pivotal opportunity for a dynamic individual to lead significant initiatives and contribute to sustainable agricultural development.
The Managing Director will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of the Trust's 4-year Strategic Plan, overseeing all agricultural development and beneficiary-facing programs. Key accountabilities include ensuring the Trust's financial health, controls, and compliance, as well as spearheading fundraising and grant acquisition from various donors and financial institutions. The role also involves managing the loan portfolio for healthy growth, championing safeguarding across all programs, and building a high-performing Senior Management Team. Additionally, the successful candidate will represent the Trust to government bodies and strategic partners, fostering strong relationships and advocacy.
