SkalenSemi is seeking highly skilled Post Silicon Validation Engineers to join our technical team in Santa Clara, California. This onsite position is focused on the critical phase of hardware development where silicon prototypes are rigorously tested and validated in a laboratory setting. The successful candidates will have between 2 and 8 years of experience and will play a vital role in ensuring that our silicon products meet all design specifications and performance standards before they reach mass production.

In this role, you will be responsible for hands-on lab work, including board bring-up and hardware validation. You will work with complex high-speed interfaces such as PCIe, USB, and HDMI, utilizing tools like oscilloscopes to debug and characterize silicon behavior. Working within a Linux environment, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve hardware issues, contributing significantly to the semiconductor development lifecycle in the heart of the Silicon Valley.

Key Requirements

2 to 8 years of professional experience in Post Silicon Validation. Demonstrated hands-on experience in a lab environment. Proven proficiency in board bring-up and system-level initialization. Strong background in hardware (HW) validation methodologies. Technical knowledge of high-speed protocols including PCIe, USB, or HDMI. Familiarity with Linux operating systems for engineering and testing. Experience using lab diagnostic equipment like Oscilloscopes and Logic Analyzers. Ability to troubleshoot and root-cause complex silicon-level issues. Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing and testing lifecycles. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in hardware performance testing.
