OPERATIONS MANAGER @ ZENITHHIRE
Our client, zenithhire, is actively seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the daily functioning of their lodge situated in Tarangire, Tanzania. This pivotal role involves ensuring seamless service delivery, achieving high levels of guest satisfaction, maintaining cost efficiency, and guaranteeing full compliance with established company standards and operational protocols. The successful candidate will be instrumental in the smooth running of all departments.
The Operations Manager will be responsible for coordinating various departments including Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Kitchen, Maintenance, Security, Reception, and Activities. This includes fostering effective communication channels across teams, meticulously tracking performance metrics, and upholding exceptional guest service standards while adeptly handling any complaints or issues that may arise. Furthermore, the role involves stringent control over costs, stock management, and resource utilization, alongside the crucial tasks of supervising, training, and providing ongoing support to staff. Regular inspections for quality assurance, cleanliness, and safety are also key, as is the preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports to inform strategic decision-making.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's or Diploma in Hospitality, Tourism, Business, or a related field
Minimum 5 years' experience in hospitality operations
At least 3 years in a supervisory or management role within the hospitality sector
Strong leadership abilities, capable of motivating and guiding diverse teams
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective internal and external interactions
Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Proficiency in computer literacy, including MS Office and relevant hospitality management systems
Fluent in English and possess basic Kiswahili language skills
Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities under pressure
A strong customer-centric approach to ensure exceptional guest experiences
