GRIEVANCE REDRESS MECHANISM OFFICER @ WCS TANZANIA
WCS Tanzania is seeking a Grievance Redress Mechanism Officer to manage and resolve community and stakeholder complaints effectively. The role involves implementing transparent feedback channels and ensuring compliance with organizational policies to maintain positive relations between wildlife conservation initiatives and local communities. The officer will act as a primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring all grievances are logged, investigated, and addressed in a timely manner.
Key Requirements
Bachelor degree in Social Sciences, Law, or a related field
At least 3 years of experience in grievance handling or conflict resolution
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Proficiency in English and Swahili
Experience in community-based monitoring or conservation programs
Excellent report writing and documentation skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Demonstrated integrity and commitment to organizational values
Knowledge of international standards for community redress mechanisms
