PROJECT OFFICER – EDUCATION @ WATOTO SALAMA FOUNDATION (WSF)
The Project Officer – Education will be responsible for supporting the planning and implementation of education projects within the Watoto Salama Foundation (WSF). This role involves coordinating activities effectively with various schools and local stakeholders to ensure project goals are met. Key responsibilities also include assisting with ongoing monitoring, timely reporting, organizing and delivering relevant trainings, and contributing to the development of educational materials.
This is an internship/volunteer position with Watoto Salama Foundation (WSF), an NGO based in Kasulu, Kigoma. WSF works to protect children and empower youth through programs in education, child protection, gender equality, GBV prevention, livelihoods, nutrition, climate resilience, and community development. While no salary is guaranteed, a stipend may be provided depending on project funding.

Key Requirements
Degree in Education, Community Development, Sociology, or a related field.
Experience in educational or school-based programs is essential.
Strong communication skills in both English and Kiswahili.
Commitment to child protection and community development principles.
Willingness to work diligently within the Kigoma Region.
Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Fresh graduate or candidate with up to 2 years of relevant experience.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to assist with monitoring and reporting activities.
