CREDIT OFFICERS (3 POSTS) @ WAT SACCOS
Our esteemed client, WAT SACCOS, is seeking three dedicated Credit Officers to join their financial team. The primary responsibility of this role is to assess and appraise loan applications in strict accordance with institutional credit policies and procedures. Candidates will be responsible for conducting thorough client interviews, credit analysis, and detailed financial evaluations to determine repayment capacity and mitigate potential lending risks.
In addition to appraisal duties, the selected officers will prepare comprehensive credit appraisal reports and submit their professional recommendations to the Credit Committee. The role also involves the continuous monitoring of loan performance, proactive follow-up on repayments, and the strategic management of delinquent accounts to maintain a healthy portfolio. Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Basic knowledge of credit analysis, lending procedures, and risk management.
Proficiency in MS Office applications and basic banking/financial systems.
Ability to conduct professional client interviews and gather financial data.
Strong analytical skills to perform complex financial evaluations.
Experience in preparing detailed credit appraisal reports for committee review.
Competency in monitoring loan performance and managing repayment schedules.
Skills in managing delinquent accounts and implementing recovery strategies.
