Vmg is hiring an HSE Supervisor for our operations in Kibaha-Pwani. This role focuses on maintaining the highest standards of safety and environmental compliance throughout the project lifecycle. You will lead hazard identification, risk assessment, and ensure all site activities strictly adhere to local legislation and international safety standards.
The HSE Supervisor will act as the primary contact for regulatory authorities including OSHA and NEMC, ensuring all documentation and site approvals are managed efficiently. Key Requirements
Bachelor Degree or above in Environmental Health, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
Professional certification in Occupational Health and Safety (OSHA or equivalent).
At least five years of proven experience as an HSE Officer in the construction industry.
Ability to manage regulatory compliance documentation with OSHA and NEMC.
Sound knowledge of construction safety practices and hazard identification.
Competency in conducting risk assessments and accident investigations.
Good understanding of occupational health and safety legislation and environmental regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for site-wide advocacy.
High level of integrity, accountability, and professional conduct.
Strong ability to implement safety protocols and monitor onsite behavioral compliance.
