VALLEY CO-OPERATIVE RIVACU LTD UNION LIMITED is seeking a dedicated Marketing Officer to lead its marketing initiatives for agricultural produce. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing plans that align with the Union's overall operational goals. This role involves identifying and securing new market opportunities both within Tanzania and internationally, ensuring that members' produce reaches a wide and profitable audience. The position is based in Babati, Manyara.
As a Marketing Officer, you will coordinate sales and promotional programs, conduct thorough market research, and provide critical intelligence reports to the Operations Manager. You will also be tasked with negotiating contracts and terms of sale with various buyers and relevant parties to ensure the best outcomes for the cooperative members. This position requires a proactive individual with a background in Agribusiness or Marketing and at least one year of professional experience in a reputable organization. You will play a vital role in enhancing the Union's market presence and operational efficiency.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's Degree majoring in Marketing, Agribusiness or related field from a recognized higher learning institution.
Minimum of one (1) year relevant experience in a similar position in a reputable organization.
Proven ability to develop and implement marketing plans for agricultural produce in line with operational strategies.
Strong skills in identifying, engaging, and securing new markets both locally and internationally.
Experience in coordinating sales, distribution, and promotional programs and campaigns.
Ability to conduct market research and provide regular market intelligence reports to management.
Excellent negotiation skills for handling contracts, prices, and terms of sale with buyers.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with Union members and external stakeholders.
Deep understanding of agricultural market trends and commodity trading dynamics.
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting to support strategic decision-making.
Ability to work effectively within a cooperative union structure.
