Top Crop Tanzania Limited is seeking a dedicated Human Resource Business Partner to lead HR strategy and operations for our large-scale banana farms. This is a site-based role requiring daily on-site presence in Rufiji, working closely with field teams to enhance productivity and maintain high standards of compliance. The successful candidate will act as a bridge between local staff and international leadership, ensuring smooth communication and operational harmony.
Responsibilities include managing the full HR lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to training and labor relations. You will be expected to apply your deep knowledge of Tanzanian labor laws to resolve issues and foster a positive working environment. Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
5-8 years' HR experience in agriculture, manufacturing, FMCG, or similar labor-intensive industry.
Ability to lead HR strategy and operations for large-scale banana farms in Tanzania.
Willingness to work on-site daily with field teams to improve engagement, compliance, and productivity.
Capability to bridge communication between local staff and expatriate leadership.
Experience managing end-to-end HR processes, including recruitment, training, and labor relations.
Thrive in a rural, hands-on environment with strong knowledge of Tanzanian labor law.
Strong interpersonal and mediation skills for conflict resolution.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR Information Systems (HRIS).
Proven ability to manage payroll and employee benefit programs.
