HR BUSINESS PARTNER - BARANA OPERATIONS @ TOP CROP
Top Crop is seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Business Partner to oversee our Barana Operations in Rufiji. In this pivotal role, you will act as a strategic partner to farm leadership, ensuring that our human resources functions align with the operational goals of the organization. Your daily responsibilities will include managing full-cycle recruitment, handling employee relations, and ensuring strict compliance with local labor regulations. You will be expected to spend significant time on the ground, working directly with field teams to foster a positive and productive work culture. The successful candidate will lead training initiatives and develop workforce engagement strategies aimed at improving overall productivity. Given the labor-intensive nature of agricultural operations, you must possess strong conflict resolution skills and the resilience to handle high-volume HR tasks. This is an on-site, full-time position located in Rufiji, Tanzania, requiring a proactive leader who can build trust at all levels of the organization and drive continuous improvement in our HR processes.
Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
At least 8 years of professional HR experience in agriculture, manufacturing, FMCG, or similar industries.
Proven ability to lead HR operations in high-volume and labor-intensive settings.
Strong people management, conflict resolution, and interpersonal communication skills.
Experience driving workforce engagement and productivity initiatives within large teams.
In-depth knowledge of Tanzanian labor laws and regulatory compliance requirements.
Ability to build trust and rapport with both field workers and senior farm leadership.
Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and payroll management tools.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Resilience and adaptability to work effectively in a rural, on-site agricultural setting.
