ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT @ THE AGA KHAN UNIVERSITY
The Administrative Assistant at The Aga Khan University (AKU) will provide vital administrative and logistical support to the Institute for Educational Development (IED) faculty. This role involves facilitating academic plans, coordinating teaching and learning activities, and ensuring smooth administrative operations within the university's international standards. The successful candidate will act as a key liaison between faculty and various departments such as procurement, transportation, and finance to ensure all operational requirements are met efficiently. Beyond routine tasks, the role extends to supporting research-related activities by coordinating workshops, meetings, and research schedules. The Administrative Assistant will also manage travel arrangements, documentation, and communication for faculty initiatives. Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
3-5 years of proven experience in an administrative support role.
Experience supporting academic or educational programs (preferred).
Experience coordinating with multiple departments like Finance and Procurement.
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder coordination skills.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality in all university matters.
Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Advanced problem-solving and logistical coordination skills.
Strong IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Email, and Internet.
