This dual role requires an experienced educator to teach computer science and IT-related subjects across various age groups, while also leading the school's information technology department. The Head of IT will be responsible for managing the school's IT infrastructure, providing technical support, and ensuring the smooth operation of all technological systems. Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Education with a specialization in IT.
Proven experience as a Computer Teacher within a Cambridge curriculum setting.
Extensive experience in IT management, including network administration and technical support.
Ability to develop and deliver engaging computer science lessons.
Strong knowledge of various operating systems, software, and hardware.
Experience in leading and managing an IT team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with students, staff, and parents.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Commitment to staying updated with the latest educational technology trends.
Experience in curriculum development and assessment aligned with Cambridge standards.
