DISTRICT LEAD @ TANZA EDUCATION
The District Lead will oversee district-level implementation of the MsingiTek Program and directly supervise a team of 5 or more Digital Education Supervisors. This strategic role focuses on team leadership, high-level government engagement, quality assurance, and operational coordination to ensure the program meets its educational objectives. The District Lead is responsible for driving data-driven performance management across their assigned district, ensuring that both staff and technology are operating at peak efficiency. This position will be based in either Tunduru DC or Morogoro DC.
Primary duties involve monitoring district KPIs, including school attendance, reporting rates, and student learning performance. The Lead will coach and supervise DES teams through intensive field visits and performance reviews, using dashboards and field data to inform decision-making. They will engage with District and Ward Education stakeholders to align program goals with local government priorities. Furthermore, the role encompasses conducting implementation audits, coordinating equipment installations, and strengthening school ownership systems to ensure the program remains sustainable beyond the initial implementation phase.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Social Sciences, Project Management, or Public Administration.
Minimum 3 years of experience in program implementation.
Extensive experience in education or community-based programs.
Proven experience in team supervision and leadership of field staff.
Strong background in government stakeholder engagement at district levels.
Experience working in rural or low-resource settings.
Ability to monitor and interpret district-level KPIs and dashboards.
Familiarity with MEAL systems and reporting frameworks.
Proficiency in technology troubleshooting and EdTech applications.
Strong operational and logistics coordination skills.
Experience in conducting audits and quality assurance visits.
