EXPORT DOCUMENTATION OFFICER (1 POSITION) @ TALANTAH SOLUTION
As an Export Documentation Officer, you will join our dynamic Clearing Department to focus specifically on the complexities of export logistics and regulatory compliance. Your primary responsibilities will involve handling export documentation through the Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) system and ensuring all necessary permits—including GCLA, COO, Fumigation, and Phytosanitary certificates—are processed accurately and timely. You will play a vital role in booking shipping space with international shipping lines to facilitate the global movement of goods.
In addition to technical documentation, you will be responsible for preparing a comprehensive set of shipping documents for our diverse clientele. This requires high attention to detail and strong computer skills to ensure that all paperwork meets international trade standards and client requirements. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in the clearance industry and a proactive approach to solving logistics challenges, ensuring our export operations run seamlessly from start to finish in Dar es Salaam.

Key Requirements
Minimum 1+ year experience in clearance documentation
Specific export documentation experience preferred
Strong computer skills and data entry accuracy
Ability to handle export documentation on the TRA system
Experience booking shipping space with various shipping lines
Knowledge of processing export permits such as GCLA and COO
Familiarity with Fumigation and Phytosanitary certificates
Ability to prepare a full set of shipping documents for clients
