CUSTOMS CLEARANCE SUPERVISOR (IMPORT & EXPORT) (1 POSITION) @ SUNDA
The Customs Clearance Supervisor (Import & Export) at Sunda is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all customs clearance activities for import and export operations. This role ensures that all processes are completed in a timely manner while maintaining strict compliance with local regulations and company policies. Key duties include managing inspection schedules, certification applications, and resolving any documentation issues that may arise during the clearance process. Additionally, the supervisor will coordinate transport arrangements and vehicle scheduling to optimize operational efficiency. The role requires regular monitoring of daily operations and the compilation of detailed reports for the I&E Manager. The successful candidate will act as a primary liaison between the company, customs authorities, and inspection agencies, identifying opportunities for process improvement to enhance the overall effectiveness of the department.
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in customs clearance, logistics, or import/export operations.
Good understanding of customs procedures and regulatory requirements.
Strong communication skills in English for reporting and coordination.
Ability to work under pressure and handle overtime when required by operations.
Strong coordination and problem-solving skills to manage logistical delays.
High level of attention to detail for handling certification and inspection paperwork.
Excellent time management and organization skills to meet strict clearance deadlines.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
High level of accountability and reliability in handling daily operational updates.
