CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER (CEO) – FMCG @ SELECT GLOBAL
We are seeking a visionary Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead an FMCG business in East Africa. The CEO will have full P&L ownership and will be responsible for driving end-to-end business operations, profitability, and market growth. This role involves spearheading distribution expansion efforts and ensuring that the brand achieves a dominant position in the competitive East African consumer goods market.
The successful leader will define the long-term strategic direction of the company, managing complex supply chains and large-scale manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for building a high-performance executive team and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. Key Requirements
Proven experience as a CEO or in a similar top-level executive role in FMCG.
Full P&L responsibility experience with a history of driving profitability.
Extensive knowledge of distribution networks and retail expansion in East Africa.
Strong background in manufacturing operations and supply chain management.
Visionary leadership skills with the ability to inspire a large organization.
Excellent stakeholder management and board reporting experience.
Demonstrated success in driving market share growth in emerging markets.
High level of financial acumen and strategic planning expertise.
Ability to navigate complex regulatory and socio-economic environments.
Superior communication and public relations skills.
