ICD DOCUMENTATION CLERK @ RRBS
The ICD Documentation Clerk will be responsible for managing the critical documentation required for logistics and port operations at the Kurasini Inland Container Depot in Dar es Salaam. This role involves a mix of office-based administrative tasks and field operations, ensuring that all container movements are accurately recorded and compliant with customs regulations. Key duties include the preparation and verification of essential documents such as EIR, Delivery Orders (DO), and Gate Passes, as well as supervising the physical loading of containers to ensure data accuracy. The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring that all activities align with established customs procedures and organizational standards.
As a bridge between the office and the yard, the candidate will coordinate closely with truck drivers and yard teams to maintain a smooth flow of operations. Key Requirements
Valid driving license.
Proven driving experience (mandatory).
Experience in logistics, ICD, or port operations.
Strong attention to detail and coordination skills.
Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transport Management, or a related field.
Ability to prepare and verify container documents such as EIR, DO, and Gate Pass.
Competency in supervising container loading and ensuring cargo accuracy.
Knowledge of customs compliance and logistics procedures.
Ability to coordinate effectively with truck and yard teams.
Proficiency in basic computer applications for office-based documentation tasks.
