PROCUREMENT OFFICER @ ROAR CAPITAL
Roar Capital is seeking a highly skilled and diligent Procurement Officer (Female) to join our growing team in Dar es Salaam. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring that the company sources high-quality goods and services at the best possible value. You will play a critical role in managing supplier relationships, negotiating terms, and maintaining optimal stock levels to support our operational needs.
In this role, you will work closely with various departments to ensure that all purchasing activities are executed in strict compliance with internal policies and standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in supply chain management, excellent negotiation skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will be responsible for preparing purchase orders, monitoring deliveries, and ensuring that all procurement records are accurately maintained for audit and reporting purposes.

Key Requirements
Bachelor Degree in Procurement Management or a related field
At least 3 years of professional experience in procurement or supply chain management
Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills to manage diverse suppliers
Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office Suite
Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
Understanding of inventory management and stock control principles
Ability to ensure compliance with procurement policies and ethical standards
Knowledge of local market trends and supplier evaluation techniques
Strong analytical skills for cost-benefit analysis
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
