REVEURSE is seeking a dedicated and experienced Legal Officer to join our professional team in Dar es Salaam. As a Legal Officer, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive legal support regarding labour laws, employment regulations, and statutory compliance for our company and HR outsourcing clients. You will be tasked with representing the firm in disputes, drafting complex legal documents, and providing strategic counsel to minimize organizational risk. This position requires a professional who is well-versed in Tanzanian labour legislation and capable of navigating the intricacies of employment relations for a diverse workforce.
The successful candidate will work in our Msasani Village office, collaborating closely with HR teams and management to ensure operational excellence. You will handle disciplinary procedures, grievances, and contractual negotiations, ensuring that all actions taken are in full compliance with the Employment and Labour Relations Act and other relevant statutes. Key Requirements
A bachelor's degree in law (LL. B) from a recognized institution.
Not less than four (4) years of working experience in legal practice, specifically in labour law and litigation matters.
Strong understanding of labour laws, employment regulations, and good legal practices.
Strong legal drafting skills.
An active and registered legal practitioner with a valid Practising Licence issued by the Tanganyika Law Society.
Well updated on legal developments.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to provide practical legal advice and recommendations.
Proven experience in managing and handling labour matters for a workforce of more than 200 employees.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage diverse stakeholders.
