Recrcot AFRICA is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations & Mechanical Services Manager to oversee fleet and equipment operations in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The successful candidate will lead workshop activities, manage technical service teams, and ensure maximum operational uptime. You will be responsible for coordinating customer support, managing spare parts inventory, and preparing detailed performance and service reports to ensure organizational efficiency.
This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical expertise in heavy machinery and a strategic mindset for fleet management. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of OEM or dealership operations, providing technical guidance to teams and ensuring all mechanical services meet the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key Requirements
5+ years of experience in operations and mechanical services
Direct experience managing trucks, excavators, and heavy equipment
OEM or major dealership professional background
Advanced knowledge of diesel engines and hydraulics
Proficiency in technical diagnostics and repair procedures
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent planning and communication abilities
Proficiency in generating performance and service reports
Ability to manage spare parts procurement and inventory levels
Hands-on experience in providing customer support and operational troubleshooting
