IMPORT SUPERVISOR @ PRIME INTERNATIONAL TRANSPORT AND LOGISTICS LIMITED
Prime International Transport and Logistics Limited is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Import Supervisor to lead its import operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient, compliant, and cost-effective movement of cargo from arrival through customs clearance to final delivery. Key responsibilities include leading and managing end-to-end import operations, overseeing customs clearance processes, and ensuring strict compliance with TRA, TPA, and other regulatory requirements. The Import Supervisor will manage import documentation, port and ICD operations, transport coordination, and cargo movement. Additionally, the role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, customs authorities, shipping lines, transporters, and other stakeholders. The supervisor will monitor operational performance, control costs, resolve escalated issues, and drive continuous process improvement within the import team. They will also be responsible for supervising, mentoring, and developing the import operations team while ensuring the achievement of departmental KPIs and preparing operational and performance reports for management. Key Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transport Management, Clearing & Forwarding, Port Operations, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years' experience in import, freight forwarding, customs clearing, or logistics operations.
Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the logistics sector.
Strong knowledge of TRA customs procedures, TANCIS, and port operations.
Proficiency in international shipping documentation and regulatory compliance.
Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics/customs management systems.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to monitor performance, control costs, and drive continuous improvement.
