SALES EXECUTIVE @ PLANET LODGES & LAIRS CAMPS
Planet Lodges & Lairs Camps is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to drive revenue growth by building strong relationships within the tourism and travel sector. This role focuses on identifying and approaching domestic tour operators, travel advisors, and corporate clients to convert leads into confirmed bookings. You will represent the company at trade events and client meetings, effectively communicating the unique value propositions of the properties to various market segments.
The successful candidate will maintain in-depth knowledge of all lodge rates and availability while providing accurate proposals to inquiries. Working closely with the Business Development Manager, you will help guide pricing and product improvements based on market insights and client feedback. This is a target-driven role that requires excellent negotiation skills and a deep understanding of Tanzania's safari landscape.

Key Requirements
4–6 years of sales experience in Tanzania’s tourism, safari, or hospitality sector.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and successfully closing deals.
Experience selling premium or high-end safari and lodge products.
Strong understanding of Tanzania’s safari and travel trade landscape.
Excellent relationship-building and professional negotiation skills.
Fluent in Swahili (written and spoken) is mandatory for local market engagement.
Fluent in English (written and spoken) for international and corporate communication.
Self-motivated, well-organized, and consistently target-driven.
Ability to maintain an up-to-date sales pipeline and client database.
Experience representing a luxury brand at trade events and familiarization trips.
