CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER (CFO) @ PLACON HR SERVICES
We are seeking a strategic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the finance function for a growing beverages business in Tanzania. This role will be instrumental in driving financial performance, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting regional expansion. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting while overseeing cost control, profitability analysis, and working capital management. As a leadership role with high strategic impact, the CFO will manage banking relationships, fundraising, and investor reporting. Key Requirements
Chartered Accountant (CA) certification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is mandatory.
Minimum of 10–15 years of senior-level finance experience in a leadership capacity.
Prior professional experience within the beverages, FMCG, or manufacturing sectors.
Demonstrated expertise in financial strategy, commercial finance, and regulatory compliance.
Proven track record of working in African markets, specifically Tanzania or surrounding regions.
Ability to lead comprehensive financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities.
Proficiency in cost control, profitability analysis, and working capital management.
Extensive knowledge of statutory regulations, taxation, and auditing standards.
Experience managing corporate banking relationships, fundraising, and investor communications.
Strong leadership skills to strengthen internal controls and financial governance frameworks.
