DEBT COLLECTOR (4 POSITIONS) @ ONFON MICROFINANCE
OnFon Microfinance is looking for 4 dedicated Debt Collectors to assist in recovering overdue payments and managing client accounts. In this role, you will be the bridge between our finance team and our clients, negotiating repayment plans that are mutually beneficial while ensuring our company collection targets are consistently met. The work will involve both telephone communication and field visits to ensure outstanding balances are addressed in a timely manner.
Successful applicants will maintain accurate collection records and provide detailed reports to management on a regular basis. You will need to build and maintain professional relationships with clients even in challenging collection scenarios. We are looking for candidates who demonstrate resilience, strong negotiation tactics, and an ethical approach to debt recovery. Key Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Fluent in Kiswahili
Proficiency in English is an added advantage
Strong negotiation skills
Proven conflict resolution abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Debt collection or customer service experience
Ability to maintain professional relationships with clients
Capability to work with finance and credit teams
Strong organizational skills
