SENIOR SHIPPING & LOGISTICS MANAGER – COMMODITY TRADING @ NAVRO TRADING L.L.C
We are looking for a Senior Shipping & Logistics Manager to lead our commodity trading operations in Dubai. This senior position at NAVRO TRADING L.L.C requires a deep understanding of bulk and container shipping, particularly within the commodity sectors of grains, sugar, rice, and oils. With at least five years of experience, the candidate will oversee international shipments and manage the complexities of bulk vessel operations on a global scale while ensuring compliance with international trade laws.
Key responsibilities include negotiating freight rates, managing Letter of Credit (LC) compliance under UCP600 standards, and coordinating with a diverse network of brokers, agents, and international buyers. You will be expected to monitor shipments proactively, solve operational challenges as they arise, and ensure all certificates and shipping documents are handled with precision to facilitate smooth trade flows. This role demands a strategic thinker with a strong background in international logistics and commodity handling.

Key Requirements
Minimum 5+ years in shipping and logistics (bulk and container)
Strong experience in bulk vessel operations
Extensive knowledge of shipping documents (B/L, Invoice, Packing List, Certificates)
Hands-on experience with LC (UCP600) procedures
Excellent understanding of Incoterms (FOB, CIF, CFR)
Proven experience dealing with international suppliers and buyers
Ability to manage complex global supply chains
Strong negotiation skills for freight and logistics contracts
Advanced problem-solving skills for operational issues
Leadership or team management experience in a trading environment
