CHIEF COOK @ NAVIS
We are seeking a Chief Cook to lead the galley operations on a 122m SOV DP2 vessel supporting offshore wind farm projects. The vessel is highly advanced, utilizing battery power and DP2 systems, and will be operating within the 12nm zone of the UK North Sea. The role involves meal planning, food preparation, and galley management for the entire crew. The joining date is planned for the 10th of May in Norway. Wages for the Chief Cook position are negotiable based on qualifications.The contract duration is expected to be between 4 and 8 weeks, matching the project's timeline in the North Sea. Candidates should be ready to work in a dynamic offshore environment and maintain the highest culinary standards. The vessel transit from the USA to Norway precedes the crew change, and the project focuses on renewable energy infrastructure. Key Requirements
Minimum 12 months experience as Chief Cook on similar offshore vessels
Professional Culinary certification or Ship's Cook Certificate
Updated STCW training certificates
HUET with CA-EBS certification
EU National or Ukrainian with UK protection status
Valid UK Frontier Worker Permit (FWP)
Expertise in international cuisine and dietary requirements
Knowledge of HACCP and galley safety protocols
Physically fit for offshore rotation work
Valid maritime medical certificate
