We are seeking experienced Able Seamen (AB) for a high-priority offshore project located within 12nm of the UK. The position is based on a Flag Norway SOV DP2 vessel equipped with battery power and heavy-lift cranes, supporting wind farm operations in the North Sea. The contract is scheduled to begin around May 10th, following the vessel's transit from the USA to Norway. This is a critical role requiring immediate availability and the legal right to work in UK waters under specific status requirements.
As an AB, you will support the Bosun and officers in daily deck tasks, mooring, and maintenance of the vessel's exterior and equipment. The contract duration is flexible, typically 4-8 weeks, and requires candidates who can remain on board for the duration of the project. Competitive wages are negotiable based on experience. Key Requirements
At least 12 months of actual onboard experience in the rank of AB
Possession of valid COP and STCW mandatory certificates
HUET training inclusive of CA-EBS is mandatory
EU Nationality or Ukrainian status with UK protection
Valid UK FWP (Foreign Worker Permit) for UK waters
Experience working on DP2 or wind farm support vessels
Proficiency in deck maintenance and mooring operations
Ability to work in challenging North Sea weather conditions
Strong adherence to maritime safety and environmental regulations
Willingness to undergo drug and alcohol screening as per company policy
