HUMAN RESOURCES PRACTITIONER (GENERALIST) @ NATIONAL METROLOGY INSTITUTE OF SOUTH AFRICA (NMISA)
The Human Resources Practitioner (Generalist) will play a vital role in managing the end-to-end human resources function at NMISA. This role covers a broad spectrum of HR activities including recruitment, employee relations, and policy compliance, ensuring that the institute attracts and retains top-tier scientific and professional talent to support its national mandate.
Key Requirements
A recognized degree in Human Resources Management or Industrial Psychology.
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience as an HR Generalist.
Comprehensive knowledge of South African labor legislation including LRA, BCEA, and EEA.
Strong experience in handling recruitment and selection processes.
Excellent interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.
Ability to manage performance appraisal cycles and employee development programs.
High level of proficiency in HR Information Systems (HRIS) and MS Office Suite.
Meticulous attention to detail in personnel record-keeping and administration.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple HR projects simultaneously.
Proven track record of maintaining confidentiality and professional ethics.
